Read on below to discover our traditional German decor ideas for every home.
German Cuckoo Clocks
The most famous item of German home decor — the Cuckoo clock.
A cuckoo clock will bring joy to your home with its soft melodies and magnificent clockwork movements.
Most Cuckoo clocks are traditionally designed to have a “Chalet” style, which is perfect if you’re looking for a vintage or classic style for your home. The “chalet” cuckoo clock is still the most popular chosen design today due to its traditional design. Most of these clocks will have cultural scenes depicting everyday traditions from the Black Forest.
If you feel that the traditional look doesn’t suit your home interior, then a modern style cuckoo clock may be just the thing for you instead.
A modern cuckoo clock will often come in an array of bolder colors but will have fewer character designs for a more “minimal” look. These are also handcrafted using the same traditional methods as the classic cuckoo clock.
If you’re not sure what to go for, we can help you find the best style of cuckoo clock to suit your home.

Mood Paintings By Carmen Duffner
For anyone who appreciates good art, our selection of timeless mood paintings by Carmen Duffner will suit any home, with a choice of different acrylic colors and styles to choose from.
Carmen Duffner is an artist based in Schoenwald in the Black Forest. She expresses her creativity by painting colors, shapes, and symbols. She is also inspired by nature, so these paintings are usually created outdoors.
Handcrafted Stoneware
Another type of beautiful handicraft to come out of Germany is glazed stoneware. What better way to entertain guests than with a stunning range of salt-glazed stoneware dishes and tableware? They will add lots of vibrant color to your dining room.
Our hand-crafted stoneware collection has been made in Westerwald in Germany, which is famous for its pottery and is still made using the same traditional methods since the 14th century.
The glazing is created by throwing salt into a wood-fired kiln at extreme temperatures, causing a salty vapor to react with the pottery clay. Salt firing and glazing techniques are still used today to create unique pieces with an orange-peel texture. These are finished off with etched motifs and are handpainted.
Traditional Wooden Crafts
Our Erzgebirge wooden crafts are a perfect collector’s item that will take pride of place on any shelf.
Erzgebirge crafts are derived from wooden folk art in Germany and are the ideal collector’s item that can be passed down from generation to generation. These can range from traditional German nutcrackers, incense smokers, bunny figurines, and much more.
Looking for Christmas-themed decor? We also have a wonderful selection of Christmas Erzgebirge figures that make a perfect addition to your Christmas decorations, such as snowmen, carolers, and Wippels.

Our items not only add a touch of German culture but also bring joy and the very best of craftsmanship into your home.
